3 Year Olds
3 YEAR OLDS
The 3 year olds are becoming more independent and able to achieve higher milestones than when they were two. This is the year to focus on getting them ready for our PRESCHOOL Program. The following is what we will work on with your child throughout the year:
- Additional social skills, teaching children to play, share & interact with friends
- Focus on using their words, conversations using 2-3 sentences. Follows 2 or 3 step instructions, such as “Stand up, push in your chair, go to your shape”.
- Cognitive learning, thinking, problem-solving
- Learning Worksheets are more advanced, tracing and beginning to write
- Cutting practice with scissors.
- Art projects that include cutting & instructions to begin completing on their own
- Activities are more advanced for 3 year old play
- Exercise & Movement - Inside activities as well as outside playground & activities
- Sensory & Science activities inside & outside the classroom
- Becoming more independent with potty
- CLASSROOM RULES – 12 rules
